Stephanie Alice Rogers was born and raised in Boynton Beach, Florida. She studied fine arts and English literature in college, and also learned through various figure drawing classes and self-study. She currently writes, paints, sculpts and designs in Asheville, North Carolina.

Stephanie's work has a storytelling quality that is influenced both by her own writing, and by classic literature and poetry. Many of her paintings, designs and art dolls are based upon stories of her own, characters from favorite novels, omens & superstition or myths & legends. She very much values the viewer's own individual perception of art and likes to allow them to form their own ideas and emotional responses to her work. Stephanie is also influenced and inspired by fairy tales, folklore, historical figures, and the Renaissance.
